FireAlpaca, besides being an adorable name, is a lightweight drawing/sketch program that reminds me of open canvas but with a few more settings. It’s got some basic tools and settings, but it’s fun to doodle in it if you aren’t using photoshop.
It’s also free. :U Everyone likes free. And available for mac and PC.

I haven’t tried this out myself but looking at the comments it’s a good alternative to Sai if you use a Mac! I only ever talk about Sai because that’s what I use but this looks like it’s worth a shot if you’re looking for a lightweight program. And also, yeah, it’s free

Just got a mac, and yeah sadly SAI isn’t compatible. Will be giving this a shot and seeing how it is. Photoshop I use heavily but yeah, can’t argue with that price.
